I Use Arch BTW!

For the last couple of years, I have been a Fedora user (happily for that matter). After those years, I felt like making a change. I want something that gives me the newest packages and gives a smaller package number, in the hopes to keep my laptop running smoothly with the aging hardware that it’s got.

When Fedora 42 released, I attempted to update but due to human martian error I decided to stop attempting to upgrade and decided to take the jump and distrohop over to Arch Linux. I’ve used Arch before, in fact back when I first started running Linux, I did use Manjaro and Endeavour.

Arch is very minimal in terms of packages installed at fresh install. This was exactly what I wanted.

I have played around a bit on Arch with DWM, Niri, Sway, BSPWM, KDE, Gnome and now I’m on Hyprland. It’s been a learning experience and I think I’m set on staying on Arch long term.
